God has eternally existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the one, true and living God.
The Bible is God's full, authoratitive, trustworthy, true and without error Word - given so that we may know God as our loving Heavenly Father, and be fully equipped to live as his children.
Jesus is the divine Son of God, the 'Word made flesh', the Creator, Sustainer, Saviour and Judge of the world.
All human beings are guilty of rebelling against God's good and loving rule (this is called 'sin'). Because of sin, we are all destined to die and face God's righteous judgement and eternal condemnation. But...
Though fully God, Jesus became a man - concieved in the virgin Mary by the Holy Sprit. Though fully innocent of sin, Jesus died in our place for our sin - taking the judgement and punishment that we deserve upon himself. Though fully dead, Jesus was physically and eternally raised on the third day, and is seated at the right hand of his Father, ruling over all as the Lord of life.
The Holy Spirit convicts people of ther sin and convinces them that Jesus is the Saviour they need. Without this gracious work of the Holy Spirit, no one can be saved.
All people everywhere are called to repent (turn back to God and away from sin) and to believe in Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins, adoption into God's family, and to receive the gifts of Jesus' perfect righteousness, His Holy Spirit, and eternal life - one day joyously dwelling with God forever in his glorious heavenly New Creation.
All who believe are members of the heavenly church.
The local church, however, is central to the purposes of God in calling people to himself as it shares the good news of Jesus in it's local community. All who truly believe in Jesus are commanded to meet together to encourage and spur one another on in true faith and godliness in accordance with God's word, the Bible.
