We are about 10 minutes from the M1 and 15 minutes from the A1.
Leave the motor way (Junction 37) and turn left onto Dodworth Road (A628). Immediately get into the right hand lane ready to turn right at traffic lights into Broadway (A6133). Follow this road across traffic lights, past Barnsley Cemetery on your right. Turn right (it feels almost straight ahead) onto Doncaster Road (A635), past Kendray Hospital on your right. Turn Right at traffic lights into Neville Avenue (Coral bookmakers on corner), and then take first right into Gerald Road. Bear round to the left and St Andrew’s is half way along on your left.
Leave the motor way (Juction 36), and follow signs to Barnsley (A61) through Birdwell and Worsborough. You will eventually pass The Red Lion pub on your right; take the next right turn into West Street (B6100). Follow for 1.3 miles (past Ardsley Cemetery on your right), and turn left into Birk Avenue. Take the second right into Neville Avenue, and then first left into Gerald Road. Bear round to the right and St Andrew’s is half way along on your left.
Leave the A1 (Junction 37) heading west towards Barnsley on the A635. Follow A635 through Goldthorpe, Darfield and Ardsley. At the large Stairfoot roundabout (McDonalds on left), take the 4th exit onto Doncaster Road (still A635). At traffic lights turn left into Neville Avenue, and then first right into Gerald Road. Bear round to the left and St Andrew’s is half way along on your right.
